Tennis/Golfers Elbow

Diagnosed with medial or lateral epicondylitis?

Using a compression band just below the elbow and icing, but still have pain?

Killing yourself with Graston, cupping, and deep tissue and still have pain?

Have you addressed the actual joint?

What about that same-side shoulder or same-side wrist?

Before Pic: Look at the right elbow angle

After Pic: reduced outward angle at the elbow

Same side shoulder could lose external or internal rotation - if the above joint loses rotation, the elbow takes up the slack (and will continue to do so into the wrist).  Addressing the shoulder, elbow, and wrist joint are unavoidable when resolving what is considered a chronic condition.

Most conditions are not chronic, it's just rote belief.  Mechanics can be addressed and changed to allow distribution of forces to be absorbed vs localized to one area/joint/muscle.

Chronic elbow tendonitis does not have to be chronic if you address the actual joint and the function of those joints above and below. If you have worn out Graston, Cupping, deep tissue massage, dry needling, and constantly wearing a counter-force brace... it's time for something more.
